About The Fourteen Mountains
Founded in 2009, The Fourteen Mountains is a brand dedicated to the outdoor lifestyle.
We believe that great outdoor gear should offer dependable performance, but also accompany people as they connect with nature, explore the world, and create stories of their own.

At the same time, we value the connection between people, nature, and history. The spirit behind the brand comes from a curiosity about the unknown and a respect for those who have walked these lands before us.
To us, the outdoors is more than an activity. It is a way of understanding the world.

The Meaning Behind Our Name
The Meaning Behind Our Name
The name The Fourteen Mountains is inspired by the fourteen mountains on Earth that rise above 8,000 meters.
In the mountaineering world, these mountains are collectively known as the Eight-Thousanders. While the phrase "14 Peaks" has become widely recognized in popular culture, it is not the most precise description from a mountaineering perspective.
Strictly speaking, there are more than fourteen summits above 8,000 meters. If significant subsidiary summits are included, the number of peaks exceeding 8,000 meters reaches twenty-nine. What the international mountaineering community officially recognizes, however, are fourteen independent mountains.
For this reason, we chose The Fourteen Mountains.
Because, in our view, a mountain is far more than its summit.
The summit is only a brief moment. A mountain also includes the long approach, the changing weather, the difficult terrain, and the relationship that people build with nature along the way.
We believe that what truly matters is not only reaching the top, but everything experienced on the journey.
Most people will never stand on an 8,000-meter summit. Yet everyone has their own "Fourteen Mountains" in life.
A journey. A dream. Something worth pursuing.
